Project: Ball Wall

Location: Missoula, MT

Installed: May 2017

This ball wall installed at SpectrUM Discovery Area encourages use of simple machines to move play balls across the exhibit. Guests can turn various knobs and pull on rope handles to manipulate the path the balls travel and see how the react to various obstacles. Green arrows around the exhibit emphasize the ball's' path of travel. Toward the center of the wall, users can build their own ball pathway using magnetic ball tracks.
